Staff Specialist Psychiatrist – Child & Youth

Permanent full-time or part-time, hours negotiable
Remuneration package up to AUD $534,040 p.a. (f/t) + benefits
Townsville Hospital and Health Service is seeking Staff Specialist Psychiatrists to join our Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Service (CAYAS). These senior roles provide clinical leadership across community, early intervention, outreach and telehealth teams within a well-resourced tertiary mental health service.
Multiple positions are available as part of ongoing service growth.

Your role
- Lead clinical care across CAYAS teams
- Provide assessment, case management and evidence-based interventions
- Support innovative, culturally responsive models of care
- Teach and supervise trainees and mental health clinicians
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement and on-call rosters
Flexible full-time or part-time arrangements are available, with negotiable hours to support work-life balance

- Remuneration package up to AUD $534,040 p.a. (f/t) (L18-L27)

Requirements
FRANZCP, or equivalent qualifications eligible for specialist registration as a Psychiatrist with the Medical Board of Australia.
