Position Title:  Principal House Officer (Psychiatry)

Location:  Wide Bay Mental Health and Specialised Services, Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals 

Remuneration:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $176,459 p.a., comprising salary between $137,196 - $150,684 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) annual leave loading (17.5%) and vocational training subsidy (L4 - L7) (Several Permanent Full Time Positions (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for 12 months). 

Your opportunity:

• This position is responsible for providing high quality specialist mental health interventions to the target population and for contributing to the effectiveness and efficiency of the service as a whole.
• The position will involve providing medical service in a bio-psychosocial Mental Health model at a Principal House Officer level to patients in a public health district setting. There will also be work in the emergency mental health assessment area, during working hours and after hours both on a roster basis.  The position is a member of a multi-disciplinary team of health care professionals
