Takes Care specialist Centre (TCSC), established in 2011, is a provider of face-to-face and telehealth psychiatry and psychology services. Currently, it operates out of two centrally located premises in Toowong and Greenslopes, QLD.
TCSC clinicians are dedicated to creating personalised care and therapy within a safe environment, where every patient is empowered to reach their goals.
With the opening of its Centre in Greenslopes, TCSC aims to expand its psychiatric and psychological services to the Brisbane community in a timely manner and in a range of areas, such as child & adolescent, as well as adult psychiatry and psychology.
As a result, it is expanding its team of psychiatrists and psychologists and aims to recruits other allied health workers, such as Occupational Therapies and Speech Pathologists.
TCSC is a registered provider of Therapeutic Services for NDIS participants.
Company History
2011-Present: TCSC received referrals from General Practitioners throughout Brisbane and regional areas in QLD, NSW & VIC. During this period, TCSC also became a providing contractor for several government and non-government organisations.
2015-Present: TCSC commenced psychiatric services. With one part time psychiatrist, within weeks, we were receiving 20 referral per month from regional areas of QLD and NSW. With 5 part time psychiatrists, TCSC is now receiving approximately 80-100 referrals per month for its face-to-face and telehealth psychiatry services.
2020-Present: TCSC has become a registered provider of NDIS, which led to further expansion of the practice. In addition, because of the audit process that was undertaken in the registration process, corporate governance of the company became highly robust.
