Expressions of Interest – Outreach Clinical Psychiatrists
Multiple Vacancies | Aboriginal Medical Services Across NSW
RDN Health invites Expressions of Interest from Clinical Psychiatrists to deliver outreach mental health services across Aboriginal Medical Services (AMSs) in NSW. These roles are supported by the NSW Health Central West Aboriginal Mental Health and Wellbeing Program and the Commonwealthfunded outreach programs, enabling sustainable and culturally safe psychiatric care for Aboriginal communities.
About the Opportunities
Clinicians will provide a blend of facetoface and telehealth consultations as required. Key responsibilities include:
- Psychiatric assessment and diagnostic clarification
- Medication management
- Collaborative care with Aboriginal Health Workers, mental health clinicians, GPs, psychologists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Clinical support for individuals experiencing mental health conditions, including ADHD assessment and diagnostic clarification
Remuneration is competitive, and travel expenses are covered for inperson outreach visits.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration
- Fellowship with the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)
- Or RANZCP fellowship trainees with supervisor support
- Or Rural Generalists with advanced mental health skills
