Description

•   Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments including diagnostic formulation and risk assessment.
•   Develop and implement individualised treatment plans and management in collaboration with client, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
•   Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
•  Collaborate with psychologists and other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive treatment strategies.
•  Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
•  Participate in team meetings and case discussions as needed.
•  Stay informed of best practices and advancements in the field of psychiatry.

Requirements

•   Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) with specialisation in Psychiatry.
•   Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand college of Psychiatry (RANZCP).
•   Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
•  Demonstrate experience in the assessment and management of a broad range of psychiatric disorder.
•  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•  Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
•  Compassionate approach to patient care and a commitment to improving mental health outcomes.
